Wandering around the eastern side of
the Sangre De Cristo mountains, I discovered this idyllic
box canyon. Pines. rocks and a little steam made it
a pleasant oasis to visit. Another watercolor in a series
I have started called Canyonlands. Throughout my
life I have been inspired by the magnificent landscape of
the west, especially those special places where the rock
soars.
