Chamisa Trail The trail near Santa Fe
gently rises and loops through beautiful aspen and mixed conifer
groves. Evening on the trail at the end of a day hike up in the Sangre De Cristo mountains, quiet, cool and peaceful. The
canyon is often narrow and very shaded with plenty of pines as well as
cottonwoods, willows, and other deciduous trees, in the spring providing
a green canopy above and in the fall blanketing the path a gorgeous
yellow.
