Cottonwood
Mist
Misty mornings along the Rio Grande are a
rare occurrence in the high desert of New Mexico.
Traveling north of Santa Fe, looking across to the
cottonwoods and willows, I saw the river with the trees
turning to fall colors as a living impressionist
painting. The bosque of cottonwoods and willows
creates a lush environment in the high desert of the
Colorado Plateau.
This is the latest in a small series I am doing around the Rio Grande river. In this case using quick strokes with a Chinese writing brush on rough watercolor paper. 16" x 12" image size, matted and ready to frame. Perfect for home or office. Thanks for looking! Image was photographed to represent original colors, but your monitor colors may vary the colors slightly. $300.00.00 Back to Art Index contact me at cwa@charlesash.com |
