Sandstone buttes known as The Mittens tower over the desert floor in Monument Valley.  The Navajo name for the valley is Tsé-Bii-Ndzisgaii, "Valley-of-the-Rocks".  Throughout my life I have been inspired by the magnificent landscape of the west, especially those special places where the rock soars.
