Scene depicting pinons at twilight during the monsoon. One of a series I just started, to do a painting a day.. In this case I used a writing brush on rough watercolor paper. A fun way to bust loose and explore with watercolors that are different from my usual approach. This piece is an impressionistic landscape of the high country near Santa Fe.
