September In New Mexico
It is September in Northern New Mexico with the
cottonwoods starting to turn yellow and the oaks turning red. The
smell of roasting green chiles fills the air. Throughout my life I have
been inspired by the magnificent landscapes of the west. This piece was
created on rough watercolor paper using a japanese writing brush.
This is the latest in a small series I am doing around the Rio Grande river. In this case using quick strokes with a writing brush on rough watercolor paper. 11" x 30" image size, unframed Perfect for home or office. Thanks for looking! Image was photographed to represent original colors, but your monitor colors may vary the colors slightly. Sold Back to Art Index contact me at cwa@charlesash.com |
