Twin Lakes South of Leadville, Colorado in the Arkansas River valley where my family homesteaded in 1870's; at the base of Mount Elbert. Two
large, sparkling glacial lakes reflecting some of the nation's highest
peaks. I recall my Grandmother teaching me how to fly fish here,
watching the afternoon storms pass between the two mountains.
Another series of watercolors working to achieve a minimalist feel. A fun way to bust
loose and explore with watercolors using quick strokes with a Japanese
writing brush on rough watercolor paper.
